The red mitten award

This award recognizes and honors, an outstanding individual or organization that aligns with the mission of The Keepers Of The Mitten which is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.  This individual or organization is making a significant contribution to the community in which they live through commitment, service, creativity, cooperation, and leadership in their volunteer role(s).  For the purposes of this award, volunteering is defined as:

·  Volunteers significant unpaid hours

·  Contributes talents, energy and skills to serve others

·  Benefits the organization and the community
